BA (Hons) Photography
Fashion, beauty and community photographer Razvan Popa uses photography as a tool to facilitate collaborative image-making. Central to his approach is the exploration of the relationship between concepts of identity, visual culture and the visual arts. Using process-based methodologies, he invites participants to take part in the creative process, where the act of making is as important as the outcome. With an interest in editorial photography and aesthetics of beauty, Popa’s work aims to challenge traditional notions of self and the politics of representation, particularly within LGBTQ+ communities.
