Home - provides Syrian refugees with the means for growth; an electric skateboard chassis with a modular body being both a form of transport and a comfortable living space. The innovative design of its structure makes it easy for a temporary community to be built and developed. Other aspects of community building are also addressed, such as energy production and employment opportunities for some of the world's most vulnerable people. The project reflects my interest in using design as a means for improving life, whether it’s making day-to-day life easier, or as a solution to a pressing or basic necessity.

My career aspirations lie with Interior Design within the Automotive and Transport industry and I’ve previously completed a 5 month placement at Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge (IKA) in Aachen, Germany where I was part of a small team that designed the interior for the autoSHUTTLE, an autonomous bus concept.
