The Mile Green Hotel is an exceptionally rated four-star hotel in Coventry city centre, designed to facilitate both cultural and business tourists. The hotel will help meet the demands the city will face, due to the expected increase in tourism, due to the ‘City of Culture 2021’, and the ‘Commonwealth Games’ in 2022. The hotel is self-sustainable, using multiple sustainable systems, including a ground source heat pump, solar panels, and a natural ventilation system with a heat recovery system. The interior was designed using natural materials and biophilic principles aimed to enhance and deliver a relaxing, light, and zen-like interior.
