Lily Farisha

BA (Hons) Fashion

Hi , my name is Lily Roslan. A fashion student at Coventry University. I was born and raised in Malaysia. I enjoy doing textile manipulation. I use different types of manipulations and experiment using different types, colours and shapes of embellishments and fabrics. I prefer to design basic garments because I want people focused on the textile that I've made on the garments.

I am always passionate about experimenting and creating fun and colourful garments that I could be proud of. I believe that fashion allows us to define and express our personalities without us having to explain it ourselves; our own personal unique style can be observed by a complete stranger, letting them know everything they need to know just with one glance at our outfit.

In the future, I would like to work with a local brand company here in the UK. I'm planning to continue my studies and get an MA in Textiles. I aspire to be a successful Textile Designer in a fashion house. I would like to create clothing. I want to show a creative side of my art ability and I want to make them affordable for all as well.

"Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live." Gianni Versace
