Harry Swaine

BA (Hons) Media Production

Harry is a piano-playing, camera obsessed film maker, who has made short films for as long as he can remember. As a cinematographer and colourist, Harry loves how the amalgamation of light, colour and composition can convey narrative and atmosphere. This can range from working with natural light on a zoom call, to a controlled set using lights and cinema cameras. Besides his main inspiration being the dynamic duo of Roger Deakins and Dennis Villeneuve, He has recently found inspiration in British commercial cinematographers such as Ian Murray and Joel Honeywell. Outside of University, Harry turned his hand to writing and directing for BBC New Creatives, and interned as a creative producer at Disney. He hopes to continue his new found passion for creative leadership in creative producing as well as exploring opportunities as a camera trainee.
