Hello! I'm Becky, an illustrator from Bristol. I specialise in children's illustration but also enjoy applying my style to a multitude of disciplines. Whilst accomplished across a range of mediums, I mainly use digital painting to create vibrant and lively pieces, often with a positive message.

Growing up in a big family and sharing everything, I loved that drawing and painting was the one thing that only I did, and it was inevitable that I would enter a creative field. This led me to study illustration and graphics and university, where I've spent time developing and honing my skills. This included a year abroad in Australia, where I gained invaluable experience enhancing my knowledge in a new environment and broadening my area of study.

It is during my time at university that I discovered my love of children's illustration. In my final project I've showcased my ability to illustrate a wide variety of characters and scenes in an engaging way, with a strong sense of design that shines through the harmony of illustration and text.

I aspire to work as a freelance illustrator and continue creating children's books that introduce meaningful and important subjects in an engaging and positive way.
