MDes / BA (Hons) Product Design
As a product designer and a student, the problem of desktop clutter has always bothered me. There are too many office supplies stacked on my desk, which seriously affects my work efficiency. I often disrupt my thoughts in mid flow because I can't find a certain tool, and I need to spend a lot of time to organise and categorise each time. That's why I always wanted to design a user-friendly desktop organiser system. The product needs to take into account many people in the office. As each person's work nature is different, the objects needed will also be different, so I started around a modular design. All objects have the same design language and can be combined with each other. Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa's unconscious design has inspired me a lot: "unconscious design" ensures that the product is no longer a cold functional object, but a combination of function and emotion. Studying unconscious behavior to achieve conscious design.
Are you also bothered by the messy desk? Modular Office Supplies is a solution that will take the clutter off your desk. Redesigned office supplies are more integrated and personalised, allowing users to organise their desktops easily.
