KAMP - 2030

What If? In a post-pandemic world, could staycations become the new normal, will people start looking for a fresh and exciting escape a bit closer to home? could this be the perfect opportunity to serve increased demand in motorhome hire and provide an alternative contemporary vision of what that industry could look like?

The Principle of the motorhome hasn't changed since its creation. A moving space that provides you with everything quite literally including the kitchen sink. Does the idea of lumbering around in a large box with the burden of containing everything needed for a week's stay, turn millennials away from using these services that can offer an exciting escape?

Providing a New aesthetic associated with the industry KAMP is a compact, two-person, autonomous Micro camper. Designed to be used as a tool to explore areas of interest and provide a theatrical sleeping experience in the outdoors. Exploring the idea of vehicle - architecture integration, all the amenities needed for a 2-5 day are taken away from the camper and placed in pieces of Interesting micro-architecture across the country. These will form as 6 building hubs acting as a base for local exploration. The camper will dock seamlessly with the underside of the buildings acting as useable space.
