BA (Hons) Automotive and Transport – Urban systems
With a global shift happening within the transport industry it's vital to not just redesign existing ideas/concepts, but to reimagine the very foundations of what a vehicle can be, and what it can do for its user's.
Consequently, it's this attitude that spawned the idea for my Final Major Project. With playfulness and sociability at the core of the project, the vehicle is inherently friendly and characterful.
Sitee 2035 is an urban lifestyle vehicle designed for young individuals to explore the city and socialise with other user's creating 'outdoor living rooms'. With removable bean bags and a lack of boundary between interior and exterior, the vehicle allows the user's to dictate their social space once stationary, then immersing themselves in the urban environment whilst moving.
As cities increase in population, it's more relevant than ever to innovate how we interact and socialise in urban spaces.
