BSc (Hons) Architecture
About Me: I have always been very passionate about art and design. During my undergraduate studies I thave tried to take a humanistic approach to every project. I believe that the combination of creative thinking, clever engineering, understanding the users' needs and context can contribute in formulating successful designs that can positively impact on the environment as well as on people's health and wellbeing.
Project: The pandemic has prevented people from socialising and interacting with individuals, friends and family, resultantly developing symptoms of obesity, depression and isolation. The project focuses on developing an Art-based activity centre within Spon End to not only help people socialise and better their wellbeing, but to introduce activities into the area that can encourage locals to learn creative and hands-on skills, to widen their opportunities for employment. Whilst the building would incorporate an exhibition space for art, it will also promote a healthy lifestyle within the community, with the building housing spaces for fruit market and a micromobility shop.
"Every great design starts with an even better story."
