My name is Alexandra Anstee and I am devoted to becoming an Environment Artist and have just completed my final year. My obsession for game art stems from my love of Puzzle Games, it is also boosted by my curiosity for VR. VR has long caught my attention, I remember Christmas 2007, playing Professor Layton on the DS, wishing I could solve the puzzles surrounded by an interactive environment.

I am well versed in Adobe Photoshop and have achieved a certificate for the program since studying. I have become confident in using Maya, Substance Painter, Z Brush, and Unreal's blueprinting for level building. For my FMP, I worked in a team with Zak Tooth. We decided to work as a team to simulate working conditions as well as allowing us to aim big for our FMP.

For my FMP I wanted to create an environment that captures 70's neo futurism. Taking inspiration from artists such as Roger Dean and Santiago Calatrava, alongside games like Outer Wilds I pushed my environment designs. My end goal for my FMP was to have a game-ready level that would entice the player to explore, and I think I was able to achieve that.
